Tool paths

Is there any version of an Auto Desk AutoCAD program that will allow you to program CNC machines? I friend said there is something called Tool Paths. I use ACAD 2005

There is heaps of software out there lathes, wire cutter, 2 + 3 axis, multi tool, laser cutters, water jets etc.

You will probably have to pay for it though.
