We have upgraded all of our Autocad Stations to 2008 and the rest of the company uses DWG true view to view and print drawings. Well since we have upgraded when they open drawing through the viewer they don't look the same as the do in autocad. I wonder if it has something to do with the annotation becouse it looks like it's only the dimesions and call outs. Any help would be welcomed.

Make sure you have the right font directory path installed on the DWG True View Files tab under Options.

Looks like your 2008 users are using annotative text and multiple scales are showing in TrueView....

Is there a fix besides not using the annotative text they love that feature.

I guess the fix would be for the users to view the drawing via the layout tabs instead of model space. that way, there should be no trouble with different scales of annotative features.

Is this consistent behavior for you? Because I cannot get TrueView 2008 to do this with Annotative dimensions or text in a 2008 DWG file.
What is the value of SAVEFIDELITY on the AutoCAD machines that are saving these drawings?

I'd be interested in finding a solution to this. Does anyone get around this issue in the work environment? Annotative text makes so much sense and we don't use it at work!

Well we have truevew 2007 so I wonder if that is a part of it.
Our SAVEEFIDELITY is set at 1 what all would setting it to 0 change?

Start by getting rid of TV2007 and installing TV2008.

I found my error I think autocad should have a thing when ever you click on a new button. It tells you what it is going to affect. The problem was under options in the open and save tab I had clicked on the maintain visual fidelity for annotative objects. So there is the answer if anyone else is having this same issue

I asked about this setting here and then you answered here and said it was already set to 1.
Note that having this set to 1 has caused other problems for some 2008 users.
