I'm looking for example sets of residential architectural drawings; full sets. Any architectural folks out there be willing to send me either cad dwgs or .pdf's?

My experience is primarily in the civil field and I'd really like to get my hands on a good set of architectural plans that I might use as a go-by if I ever land some freelance in that category, not to mention doing my own home plans. Anything would be great. Something to State of Florida codes would be supremely special.

I don't know if your planning department are at technologically advanced as ours, or if your criteria are the same, but all planning drawings are available to view online as pdfs here... prob not the structural ones though, come to think....

PDF planning drawings will be avaible from any UK council site via their planning portal system.

this is the main planning site for the UK http://www.planningportal.gov.uk/ and this is the main Building Control one http://www.submitaplan.com/

i'll see what i can dig out at work, i have many extensions i have done and a few one of houses.

you will find it a hard thing to get ahold of. they are bassicaly build ready in most cases, and some wont want to give out that information due to copy rights and such.

Ewww, Florida. Over designed for hurricane loads! Yuck. Look for CMU (concrete masonry unit) construction methods.
