Hi,

I am wondering what is the proper way to save a zip of total CAD files so that all info can be accessed in each drawing? (ex: all fonts, shape files, blocks, etc., that belong with each drawing)

Which file should the zip be extracted to?

The program file, or the client file?

Hoping this question makes sense,
Thanks in advance.

If your wanting to send or transfer a dwg , Etransmit , will include all the fonts and I believe Xref files etc needed. not sure that is what you mean,.. oh or if etransmit was a feature in 2002

Hi,

is me memory going or wasn't eTransmit called Pack&Go in 2002? An eXtreme-tool or whatever?

Yes, it used to be called "Pack N Go" back in Autocad 2000, but I believe it was changed to Etransmit in Autocad 2000i.

Thanks to each of you.
I was able to figure it out this morning.

Yes, If I were packaging a file to SEND, Etransit would have worked, but I was trying to extract a file that was sent TO me from a zip.

Happy New Year!
