I am totally new at autocad so please bear with me.
Currently my new job requires me to use the 2002 version of autocad.

After creating a drawing I tried to tolerance it using deveation tolerancing. I went to dimension style and found that i could enter my tolerancing this way, but the problem is that it adds this tolerance to every dimension on the drawing.

How do i add the tolerance to each individual dimension in a given drawing????????

One way is to set up a plurality of dimension styles. Each one can be based on your STANDARD but add a description in it's name. For example I have STANDARD, STANDARD-1DP & STANDARD-2DP. You can then change one particular dimension to a different style using PROPERTIES & format paint as required or set each style in turn as current and dimension the items then.

You can also modify each dimension in turn using Properties but this can bite you later.
