Metric Scale & Plot

I have a Topo drawing that I xref'ed into my plan and did some layout work.
My unit were set to Feet & Inch. I need to plot out the drawing @ 1:1000
How do I set that up.???

What do you mean with "my unit were set to feet & inch"?
Do you mean that in model space you used feet as units and in paper space you set your page using inches as units?

Yes, and I want to plot the drawing at a 1:1000 scale.???

As I use only metric units I prefer to let this on to other members that are more used to imperial units.
I know how to get the result you want, but my method could be not the best one.
