The question is 2 hard to explain, so I just posted pictures. The Top 2 points need to stay fixed in there position, but the bottom to points can rotate and move. I've used 3d studio before and there was a way to do this, but I didn't know if there was a way to do this in AutoCAD. If this doesn't make any sense (i'm sure it doesn't :D) Feel free to ask and i'll try better to explain, thanks for any help you could provide (Using AutoCAD 2002)

are you trying to move them or rotate them (as in animation) ?
if it's animation you're looking for then not in acad I'm afraid.
if it's moving them then it's no problem, just rotate 3D

Well, I was looking to move/rotate like it was a fixed object (dont' really know how to explain it well) Its just a 2d drawing. I wanted to know if there was a way to take the before object and rotate/move to the after after view, but only rotating at those 4 spots and have them all individual parts. The way I had to do it now was rotate each piece seperatley, but that is not a garunteed perfect way. I want to make sure what I have drawn will really work. Does this make anymore sense? :?

If you only want to move the bottom segments, why not select the lines and then select the relevant grip and change the location. Then repeat this for the other grip. That way the top two grips arent affected. To have multiple rotations axis,is something Ive often wondered about but no one has come up with anything as far as I know.
