I have entered a finished model for the propeller in this months comp.

Tricky but easy once you convert from autocad methods to inventor.
I'll post up the model when the deadlines past. Also I will post up a tutorial on how to do it. Inventor 7. :geek:

Hi Mr T , cheers for the link 2 the site . i use to try these world cup challenges ages ago when they were on hxxp://www.sdotson.com/ but then he stoped posting them so iv not done 1 in about a year, there are loads on that site u posted so i think ill make a large pot of tea and spend a few hours ( or more ) brushing up on inventor again.

Nice 1, i did the propellor its a good 1 as its quite quick and till looks really good when done. il be honist and say i was looking at the drawing for about 5 mins thinking of the best way to model it and i keep thinking LOFT command and i even started setting offset planes with rotations in it to get the blade right then it came 2 me lol COIL command..anyway got there in the end not sure on the time it took because i messed up with the LOFT command at the beginning. :roll:

I thought about the coil but could not get the curves, doh just a fillet.

Are they still running??? gez I would love to get back into them, they were great tasks and skill builders, I have learned a few new tricks since I last done 1.
