Does anyone know anything about customizing the standard symbols (elevation tag, section tag, etc....). I was able to modify the tail section for my detail and building section cuts by it's only per job basis, is there any way to set it as a default?

Thanks for the help.

have you looked at editing the family files for the tags?

found here, prob be imperial for you :: C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Autodesk\RAC 2008\Metric Library\Annotations

i will double check to see if it works editing them.

Yea, I looked there, but no luck finding the Elevation tag. Wish there was more stuff on Structure.

When our did some ATC training for Revit. One of the things that came up was "How do you change that ugly elevation symbol" The quick answer is that you can't really change it. The trainer suggested that since the section cut symbol was closer to our standard, that we use that instead but show it with no cut line.

Found same thing every where. I just made a section cut changed the element props. with no tail. Seems to work for now.
