Just a question really, i do a lot of detail sketches of ceiling junctions etc and they are mainly A3 size, i used to do all my dims in ms, until now, i tend to put all of them on in paperspace so all the drawings look identical with notes etc, but i find its a problem if the drawing needs a major change, as the drawing moves and the dims either get stretched all over and look so messy i re do the dim work.

Is it the 'norm' to put the dims on in ps or just personal preference?

Not sure of the "preferred" way but I do all of mine in MS. I found it easier for me but might not for someone else.

I do mine in MS too! I like my dims to be right down to the last millimeter. :)

No reason why you can't plot from modelspace.

I used to use MS and sometimes PS. Although Autodesk
invented PS for viewports and dims.

PS Inventor avoids all that trouble.
