Basic Question

i know this is such a basic question, but here we go

im running mechanical 2008, im creating some customer template drawings and when i create/insert the drawing temp box/legend the text appears in yellow, fair enough.. so i go to object properties change to black and its still not having none of it, how do i just select the individual text without the hole box and apply the colours accordingly. :huh: thanks experts

Is this a block that you are inserting then?
If it is then check the layer that you are inserting it to. If the text was created on layer 0 then it will take the display properties of the layer on which the block was inserted.
