colour pdf and prints over A3

hi my first ever question !...im fairly new to this but i cant understand why i can see colour lines on my A3 prints and A3 pdf drawings but once i want them to be A1 ..then the colour simply vanishes off the print preview and hence the print ....and also off the pdf ...?

check the pen table (plot style) that is being used when you print.
It may be that they are different if you are using pre-configured page setups, or that you are not using a plot style at all when printing at A3.
