Hatching woes

Recommended Posts

I've been using Autocad 2007 for the past 5 months without these issues, then I had to create a new account on my computer at work and now EVERY time I create a hatch it turns into this dead mass. Yes, I've tried creating an associative hatch, and no, I can't edit them either. Any ideas would greatly help.

Well, first off, let me welcome you to the forum BStreiss. Just too bad it was a problem that brought you to us. Could you post a sample drawing?

Hi,

seems to me that as you said that this started after creating a new userprofile that something has gone haywire in the secondary installationprocess... The places for haymaking are several but I'd recommend trying creating a further userprofile whilst unplugged from the net and with the Virusprotection turned off... See if this won't do it... If not, I suspect you're up to (or down to, I regress...) reinstall...

Chee... Sorry, Yours,

Petri

As promised, here is a sample file from work. After I created the hatch I tried to edit it on my machine without any luck. My office mate had success, though we made a copy of the file just to be sure she didn't muck up the results. I've also attached a screen shot my my screen moments before I clicked ok to exit from the hatch. Any idea welcome. :) Thanks for everything.

 Works fine on my machine.

Since the problem seems to be isolated to your machine, I think maybe you should try what Mahahaavaaha suggested and run a repair on your installation or uninstall and re-install the program.

Thank you! Will looking for this, I found the Island pick style option and changed it from normal to outer. My hatches were showing in windows, etc, even after using pline and rec.
