I need to make a bushing with 12 internal annular grooves. This is almost exactly like an internal V-thread, except that the V-grooves are not helicoil but rather annular.
I have a lot of expereience cutting external threads but have never cut an internal one.
I am a little cloudy on how to start the first internal annular V-groove. I would imagine that after I cut the first one I would be able to use the linear pattern tool to cut the rest of the grooves that I need.
If someone would post a method of doing this I would appreciate it.

Can you zip and attach what you have so far?

This Forum, and you, Dr. Mather, have my humble apologies.
While making a drawing for you that you asked for me to attach , I stumbled across the answer to the problem. I am somewhat embarassed because I should have known the answer before I asked. Again, my apologies.
