I'm using Autocad 2002LT and I have two different drawings to plot. I'm on Windows XP operating system with a TechJet 5536 Plotter (don't laugh it's the only one available.)
One drawing is my own work and one is from a supplier they have emailed to me.
When producing a plot of my own drawing, I can easily plot monochrome, the plot style table (pen assignment) is set to monochrome.ctb.
When producing a plot of the suppliers drawing, it will only plot colour even though the plot style table (pen assignment) is set to monochrome.stb.
I can edit the monochrome.ctb colours if I wish to but I do not seem to be able to edit the colours of the monochrome.stb plot style.
Any help you can give would be useful.
Without other CAD Guys or Gals here I cannot bounce my problems off them as I'm the only one providing AutoCAD drawings.

Hi Gary,

Maybe check your custom properties under plotter properties to make sure that it isn't set to colour?

Cheers

After getting some information from another source I converted the drawing from using STB to using CTB by typing convertpstyles in the commandprompt line. This worked completely.

I dare say I'll find another problem. Then I'll have to ask for more assistance again.

Gary, glad to see that we were not the only ones having this problem. Thanks for the help!
