Hi All,
I have a stupid problem! I have some title blocks in different type of fonts and I want to uniform them. I attached 2 of them for you guys. It's nerve racking to correct them one by one in block attribute editor. Please help me through this.
TIA
Cheers
Ali

Have you tried using EATTEDIT- Text Options tab?

using the text edit you can change all the text to the font you want... and then save.

I'm doing this from home so it's all from memory...
I would open the border drawing. Using quick select you can select all your attdefs. Now using the properties you should be able to set their style to what you want. Now open your base drawings and insert the redefined block. Accept the "redefine?" and all your text should be changed. If not try the attsync command.

ali, what style are you changing them to.
use dbroada method if you want to change the original block,
but if this is a single one-off change then maybe a short lisp using -ATTEDIT might work.

I'm gonna do a Cad64 here.
Looking forward to seeing what sort of lisp you come up with, Paul. o:)

Nah, mate, it's YOU. It's Australian for saying "I'm going to do the same as CAD64 has done in the past". :P
Goes back a long while ago when CarlB suggested in a thread that a lisp would be the way to solve whatever the problem was. And you responded with "I'm looking forward to seeing that lisp from you CarlB".
Get the picture now?

:) I thought that would be the case.
Glad to hear I'm not the only one with a poets day, I was begining to think I was alone.

Hell, my one and only steady support here suffers from **** Off EarlyTomorrows Saturday. Paul, you are becoming too pom-ised.
Re the lisp, easy to volunteer, never easy to produce. I keep having these arguements with Tiger, "don't ever let me volunteer to write a lisp", She keeps ignoring me, and I keep getting caught.
But in the end, when you produce something that works, you do feel justifiably proud. :D :D :P

you cannot suffer from poets day. It is there to be enjoyed!
Having said that, I didn't get away 'till 5pm tonight, 2 HOURS after normal Friday finish.

There's another useful thing for managing attributes. Its name is Block Attribute Manager. Command line: battman
