Right. I have an A1 sheet which i want to plot to A2 TO scale.
This is what I am seeing and the only way I am getting it to plot is 'fit to page' which obviously isnt to scale.
What do all those things in the drop down box mean?
Thanks in advance

No idea on the error... but if you wand to print A1 to A2 & still have it to a scale obviously 1:1 isn't gonna work so moving on 1:1.5 does if your scale allows it or 1:2 with a thick border (though that'll pretty much fit on an A3). If you've got time it's always better to insert an A2 title block on a new tab & scale the viewports onto it properly.

A1 to A2 is tricky...much easier to do it A1 to A3 - that's 1:1 to 1:2 ...

Hmmm... I can't find "scale-to-fit" on my scale rule... can someone post a picture of one here & I'll print it off :)
... & while you're about it I left my watch on the bedside table this morning so if you could post a picture of yours it'd be really helpful as well... I'm lost without it... how will I know when it's time for lunch? :o

This is driving me crazy, the issue i'm having is that I cant print a DWG as a landscape drawing over A3 size. The little preview box only displays portrait for A2-A0 and when I go to PDF it the white sheet is landscape and the data is portrait (i.e half cut off )
Adobe Acrobat tell me its a CAD fault !

I know that this is a bit late, but did you check on the size of your image ? :o 600 x 600 is the maximum allowed.
I had the same message recently, and when checked, the image was 720 x 590, so I resized for 600 max and it posted OK
