Large PDF sizes

I am curently trying to PDF some drawings in ACAD LT2008. The pdf sizes are massive.:geek:

Does anyone have any ideas how to reduce these?

try printing to a dwf file initially.
then open your dwf file, and print to a pdf file from there ?

I have printed to DWF, but when trying to print from DWF there appears to be no PDF option.

Is there a way to down size these files via a setting in AutoCAD?

Don't use the default PDF Plot Driver from AutoCAD. Get a third party app, like the following:

www.cutepdf.com (http://www.cutepdf.com) or www.pdf995.com (http://www.pdf995.com) and use those instead.
