For my architectural drawings using AutoCAD LT 2006 I am constantly fighting linetype scaling issues.
I draw my floor plans 1/4" = 1'-0" with a 48 lts scale and use a 48 xp scale for the viewport and looks great.
I draw my site plan at say 1" = 20'-0" with a lts at 240.
I then xref my site plan into my floor plan layout. Scale at 240. Set the paper space units varible to use paper space units for scaling and set to one.
Floor plan looks great but the site plan lines oviously look different from the original file, the spacing of the dashes and such.
Why? Is there a better way to control the spacing. This happens with my details as well.
Any help or direction to some information on this issue. Does anybody else fight with line type scaling?
Thanks
