Hello all,

I have been looking through the other threads for a while now, and cannot find my problem.

I am using autocad 2006.

When I plot my drawings on an A1 sheet, i get a double line at the top of my border. I have my plot settings as papersize ISO A1 - 594 x 841. (landscape). Plot Area - extents, plot offset - centre the plot, scale 1:1

I also notice that my copyright title box, that i have in the top right corner of the page, about 5 mm inside my border, tends to get a double print of the first line.

When I print preview the dwg, the borderis well within the dotted print area!?

Any ideas please....

Pete

try using 'window' to plot, not extents. don't think it will make much difference but I would say you have more control

Can you please try plotting it as a dwf and let us know if it still double lines in the dwf file.

As a second thought, I dont suppose the double line is actually the viewport frame?

Cheers

I will try plotting as dwf, on your other point, no the viewport way inside the border, I even removed the vieport to see if it was somehow effecting the plot, and the lines still appeared! Will try the pwf now.

tried the dwf, no lines show on this at all. I am starting to lean towards it being the plotter going wrong at the beginning of the plot....
