Does anyone know how to custom select items?

Is there a command that allows you to define characteristics ie: text type, layer, pin color etc...
for custom selection or visability. thanks

So, DreamtechMech,

Select what you want to globally change, then go to the PROPERTIES dialogue, and change whatever there. :)
