Pattern Hole Placement

This is problem a very very simple question, but I'm just starting to learn Inventor. I've been going through some tutorials and I've pretty well got down the basics sketching/constraints/features/some parameter stuff etc

My question is though I want to place a set of holes down a part but I want the number of holes dependent on the size of the part. I've come up with a formula based on the dimensions of my part, but if I try to plug that formula into the parameter field it doesn't like it. I suspect its because it doesn't allow a formula with measurement dimensions to convert to a unitless number?

Is there a simple way to go about doing that? Thanks

Well isn't that great.. I went to go get the file and tried it one more time and it worked for me this time. What do you know! :D

It may have been I wasn't using () to enclose it, but I was pretty sure I was, oh well. Thanks :)

The usual problem is a mis-match of units.
