Hi All,

I am new to AutoCAD and have been modelling a new 2D/3D project I plan to construct (trailer).

I have almost completed the model and was wondering how I can display the measurements, angle etc of each piece of my model.

I want to be able to quickly look at a part of my model and be able to see the length, width, height and angle, so I can cut the piece out and construct my project out of metal.

Can someone please help me, or am I not correct in assuming AutoCAD can do this.

Thanks
Steve

Welcome to the forum steve8679.

You might try Quick Dimensions under the Dimension pull-down menu. I'd read up on how it works using the Help file first before attempting anything. Will you be dimensioning in model space?

You will also want to read up on all the dimension functions, such as Linear, Aligned, Arc Length, Angular, Radius and Diameter and search around on here for how to set up your Dimstyles.
