What is 'this'?
Are you talking about how it looks like just lines as opposed to the triangular forms it usually is on the conc. hatch? or do my eyes decieve me?

you are correct, where are the triangles?

Is that the way it looks when you plot? Have you tried typing in regen in the command line? Or maybe change the hatch scale.
I have no idea if any of those things will work but off the top of my head that's what I would try.

I think it has something to do with your hatch origin

It's really hard for me to tell based offa that picture; but are there also the dots/points that are normally on a hatch pattern? They don't seem to be there from what I can tell, which would lead me to ask a very blunt question, and I don't mean to be insulting, but are you sure that's the correct hatch-pattern?

So there's hatch origin...
but why would that kill 2/3 of the triangles for a conc hatch?
are those other 2/3 lines blocked in at some other hatch-point?

An old fix..was just to move the ucs origin closer to the hatch..(only if it didn't stuff required x,y co-ordinates...
For some reason complex hatches loose their clarity the further away from the origin..
my guess would be that acad precision/rounding large numbers
when then x & y are huge...(when calculating the hatch pat.)
Probably why they introduced HPORIGIN, so you dont have to move ucs origin..:)

The original definition of the hatch was not very accurate, but the hatch lines are placed accuratly, so the further away from the hatch origin you go, the worse it gets.
Set your hatch origin up in the dialogue window the same as shown

If you need to adjust the hatch origin precisely, select the 'Click to set new origin' button to pick a point on the drawing itself.
As to why it's a mess:

Seeing as how that program appears to remedy the problem, I wonder why Autodesk doesn't apply a fix to this, somethings just need their origin and/or insertion point at 0,0. :?

Earlier when did not know abpot hporigin i was using snapbase to set starting point for tile hatch in toilet plans & elevations & it worked fine. It was not the problem for me but i guess if u don't remeber to set it back to 0,0 after hatch it can mess up origin of the objects done after.
It works in the older versions also.

I know at this point it's only a quick fix but i've had the same problem. what I usually end up doing is switching the UCS to anything but "world" and then put in the hatch. After which I switch back to world and go on about my drawing. That usually does it for me, but like i said its only a quick fix. What everyone else has said about the hatch orgin is more than likly correct but i haven't been able to fix the issue on my machine at this point. Mostly because some how it's very spuratic. Hope this helps
