Can't Snap to Blocks?

We're encountering a problem snapping to certain blocks. We have blocks (shaped as cross-hairs) that represent points on the ground with XYZ coordinates for a land survey. We need to draw lines connecting some of these points before we can begin our design. With OSNAP on we still can't snap to any of the blocks. We cannot explode these blocks nor do they act as X-Refs. We are using AutoCAD 2007. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Are you sure they're blocks and not points? Try snapping to them using the NODe snap.
