View Full Version : How to plot in color with DWG TrueView

I have AutoCAD 2004 on my system and have no problem plotting drawings in color. I also have DWG TrueView (primarily because others in the office use it to look at drawings who do not have AutoCAD)-- and it makes a nice and quick viewer for AutoCAD drawings. What I have noticed though is that whenever others try to plot/print a drawing with color lines using TruwView, the drawings always come out with black lines--they cannot generate color drawings.

This also applies to me using TrueView --it only plots/prints in B&W for me. Am I missing some configuration setting somewhere causing this? I think I have played with almost every option available and still have no luck.

Thanks.

David

There is an arrow button in the bottom right hand corner of the Plot screen - a bit like AutoCAD. If you press that you should get a larger display which includes the pen set up dialogue. Either create a new style here or ensure that you set TrueViews plotter search path to be the same as on AutoCAD to pick up your usual ctb file.
