Hey,

I'm really new to autocad and just started to pick up the basics. The one thing I couldn't find was how to create from existing model:

* two-point perspective (xy perspective)
* three-point perspective (xyz perspective)

The real perspective that autocad uses is the one-point perspective (railroad closes at horizon).

Second thing I was unable to find was how to make cabinet projection - angle between xy axis 90 and between yz, xz 135 degrees. How can I change projection angles between axis.

I'm just hoping these things can be done with autocad because I'm have to show my works on friday :)

Thanks in advance,
Taavi

By Friday!!! .......Maybe
Read the Acad help section on the "Dview" command. Unfortunatly
it can be a frustrating command to to master, lots of options and
settings to tinker with. One thing that helped me was a tip I got on this
forum for easier viewing of your model while you rotate it. Click Tools->
Options->System->Current 3D Graphics Display->Properties->Adaptive Degradition. Uncheck wireframe and Bounding Box, and set Maintain Speed to 1FPS. Doing this keeps your model from looking like a bunch of boxes while you orbit it . I think if you cant get the view you want by using the Dview command or the perspective option in the orbit command
you are looking for something Autocad doesnt do. Frank

I drew a square, extruded it then went to VIEW then 3DORBIT and then right-clicked and chose PROJECTION perspective.

Then I exported a screenshot into corel and drew thru the corners
to illustrate the three points.
