Set up a new dimstyle using DDIM in a drawing, then in the new drawing use DESIGN CENTRE to drag and drop that dimstyle from the previous drawing.

design centre is located under tools. you can keep it on the screen with autohide option.
open the design center menu, browse the refference file & you can import anything from it dimstyle, layers, text styles, blocks etc. you can also download things from online library from design centre.
:)

You can also set up a template file (.dwt)
In Express>Dimension>Dimstyle Import and Dimstyle Export.
You can also copy a dimension from another drawing and it will bring the Dimstyle with it.
I prefer the Design Center.
