Got to get hold of a new Mech and Elec. Standard symbol library found this one www.cadtoolz.com (http://www.cadtoolz.com) which seems to have alot of what I need however is there one that is compliant with the British Standard Symbols and is an add on for Autocad LT 2004?

Try this link to CADalot:

http://www.cadalot.co.uk/Sales/For_Sale%202004.htm

You'll have to use the Page Down key a half dozen times or so to get to the right spot. The heading is AutoCAD 2004 Block Collection. There are actually two CDs. It's the first one you might be interested in. I see references to Electric and Electric BS3939. Pricing information is available as well. Didn't see anything re: mechanical.

Hope this is of some interest.

I must be the thickest person on the planet Remark. An estimator has just suggested getting a recent tender drawing of the symbols legend sent through from another company and bringing them into the toolpalette.
It seems like a pretty good idea...so why didn't I think of it?
The only place we'd struggle is with ducting. But if I creat a line type, reckon that would work?

I've saved the link that you posted in my favorites, I recko that might come in handy too, thanks for your quick response mate, as always you have a rocket up your bum and lighting coming out your ears.

Ali.
