Has anyone encountered true type fonts not displaying in a clipped viewport?

If I change the text style to an AutoCAD font the text will appear.

I couldn't find anything on the Autodesk Knowledge Base.

We are using AutoCAD 2008 with SP1 on Vista 32 bit.

Could it be the Video Card?

Hardware:
Dell 690 Workstation with two Quad-core Xeon Processors
4GB RAM
ATI FIREGL 7200 video card with 256MB.

I tried a few and they show up fine here. Is this a particular font or any TTF?

Can you post the dwg?

I was using Arial and Arial Black.

Tried them both and still no problems. If not the card try messing with the settings.

Well I switched several of the AutoCAD graphic settings and that didn't work.

The computers are dual boot and the problem does not appear in XP.

I tried an older computer with Visita and it does the same thing on those computers.

So I guess it's a Vista compatibility issue.

I run vista and I don't have any issues with Arial or Arial Black
