Well we have this client who specifically wants the look of the overshoots for their floorplans, is there a quick and easy way to create these out of a clean drawing? I'm not too crazy about extending every single line. I don't know if SketchUp would have something for this, we just started playing with it today. Anyways, if anyone can help with this, much appreciated.

these are in fact called "edge overhangs".
there are several variables which control these.
Unfortunately, I am not sure they will be available in LT 2004.
I list them here for other users:
VSEDGEOVERHANG
VSEDGEJITTER
VSSILHEDGES
Basically run a search using GETVAR, and search for all variables beginning with VS, and have a tinker with them

Sorry, overshoots being instead of a corner at a wall, both lines extend by an inch or two, more of a "hand drawn" style I suppose

the VSEDGEOVERHANG command works with our copy of Autocad 2008, but it's doing some weird stuff too, it turns our background color to grey and our text white...and when we open it in Illustrator the overhangs are gone as well.

how about if you save it as DXF instead of dwg?
