Does autoCAD 2006 have a dashboard like autoCAD 2008? Ive downloaded the trial version of autoCAD 2008 to practice for use with autoCAD 2006 when it comes down to me having to use it (2006).

Thanks

No it doesn't, and in 2009 it's gone, replaced by a Ribbon.

P.S. Alan, try Tools > Palettes > Dashboard

The dashboard changed on the 2007 release, not sure what the new 2009 one will be like.

You can set your Workspace to classic in r2008 so that it looks more like r2006.

It's gone in 2009. Replaced by the Ribbon, AND there is no migration tools to upgrade your pre-2009 dashboard tools into the 2009 Ribbon.

So if you are thinking about upgrading to 2009, don't bother customizing your pre-2009 dashboard.
