A few years ago I worked for a company that had set up a button to click that would reselect the last set of object previously selected. They also set up a shortcut command for this too. Does anyone know whether this is possible on LT2008. I beleive that the version this was set up on was 2000.

SELECT {enter} P {enter} is what you are after.
Yes you can add this to an icon.
Macro would be ^C^Cselect;p;

Sorry tiger, didn't intend it to be so harsh, I will be more gentle in future.
not that Lel - just a :ouch: at the fact that I never keep track of what exists in LT and what doesn't.... but I tend to just add my opinion everywhere and perhaps somewhere it does the trick :)
I got thicker skin that that mate, takes a lot to offend me :)

when I decided to buy autocad before 3 months, I had to select LT bcs it costs almost 1/3 of the price of full autocad version whsich I could not afford at the moment.:(
One of the disadvantages of leaving the job & starting on your own I guess:(

oh rite 1/3 is a huge discount, but then again there is a fair bunch of stuff they leave out tho, so you can see why its 1/3

Because the functionality provided by AutoCAD, and even more so Architecture, thus providing you with greater efficiency, far out weighs the initial cost.
I have just finished off an ROI for upgrading a load of LT licences to Architecture, and it is coming out at a 280% ROI over 5 years, going up each year....

no, just good investment provided the correct training is provided and the users work the way I intend.

AutoCAD LT is around $900 in the US and Full AutoCAD is around $4,000.
Pretty good deal if LT is all you need.
