Hey guys and gals,
I'm quite sure that there is an easy way to do this, but I've not found it yet. I've searched and can find lots of info in importing images into drawings, but I can't find anything to output a dwg as an image file.
Any ideas? The image type could be either tiff or jpg, as I can convert those using photoshop.
I appreciate someone showing me the easy way to do this, so I can wear the dunce hat for the rest of the day.

try PublishtoWebJPG.pc3 in the device list when plotting. I have to assume it's a default in 08

D'OH! (Homer Simpson says it all too well)
That's it! I promise to wear the dunce cap for the rest of the day.
Thanks a ton for saving me from spending more time searching.

I used to just use print screen and paste it into Paint, use the selection tool, cut, then paste into Paint and save as .jpg. I now use SnagIt, but pretty much the same. Creates a nice .jpg.

I just went to google for the clients plant site (Satellite image), overlayed it onto my site plan , jpg'd it and sent it to the site so they could tell me what civil features were real or not (bldg's, tanks, pads, etc) compared to the location of our proposed structures. tried my usual tricks (yours too SLW but paint wouldn't rotate the image for some reason) ended up reploting it upside down which worked.
allways a way........
pretty handy stuff

I never had Paint not rotate the image, I wonder why it wouldn't rotate?

funny thing is it would do it once and thats it, even if I saved, closed and re-opened. course, I just went in and tried it as I was going to post it but of course it did it just fine many times....
