Hatch creates error, can't save drawing.

I'm having a problem with hatches. When I create one, it works just fine. however, when I try to save the file it says "warning: An error occurred during save. We recommend that you run recover on the drawing." I know it's the hatch because when I erase it the file saves just fine. This means that I can't create a hatch without this problem. Has anyone else had this problem? What to do?

Have you tried running an audit or try to create a hatch in another drawing and saving?

Well, it just realized that if I purge the drawing directly after I hatch, then it saves just fine. I can't save without purging after a hatch. Sort of a pain...

An audit gives no errors.

I have never had that problem. If you can post the drawing I will look at it.
