Hi all,

I recently came across *******************. It is selling AutoCAD 2008 for $70! Has anyone come across this, and what is the catch?!

Thanks,

DFitz

AutoCAD can be purchassed only from the official resellers. Never buy from dubious places -you can't register a warez software.

My take is that it would be a scam and definitely not an authorized copy.

Perhaps someone should delete the name of the store that the DFitz posted about. We wouldn't want to give them any free advertising.

Go ahead and buy it. You'll get a worthless CD and they'll get all your credit card information. After that you won't be smiling about the "bargain" that you got; you'll be crying the blues.

it is a scam i have looked into this, when ourcompany first went into cad if it isnt illegal copywriting (aka a copy of someone elses) its as FUC said the code/reg etc will be corrupt etc

I get 8~10 of those phishing emails a day.

After seeing the result of the Autodesk Black Helicopters and Attorneys visiting a firm I used to work for, I don't think I would ever consider black market software.

I changed it few minutes after I deleted the link from the post. Now the title is Workagains/Cheap AutoCAD
Can you still see the old title? Where?

No... erm... google Workagains... I went straight to it... (maybe it's just coincidence)... but I wanted to see what scam someone was trying to play anyway.

I receive many of these offers daily, trash 'em all.
