A couple of (linked?) strange and worrying problems have occurred over the past few days.

When trying to plot any Autocad drawing, I keep on getting a dialog pop-up window reading "FATAL ERROR: Unhandled Acess Violation Exception at 449074h. At which point, on cicking the cross in the box, I have to close Autocad, and the drawing has to be regenerated, before I can use it again. I am not able to plot.

Just as worrying, from time to time, I am getting a dialogue box reading "Not enough space on disk", at which point, everything freezes up, until I close the box. All my other progerammes seem OK, and my system and RAM memoies are as normal. I may be wrong, but the programe takes a lot longrer to open than normal.

None of my usual Acad experts are able to throw any light on this. Any help out there will be most appreciated!

Don't feel alone....
I've been using CAD with the Navy for 10 years without any problems, now in the real world I get fatal errors all the time (3 this morning). My boss and co-worker say its normal and just save frequently. I do get zoomed in very close when some crashed happen . The only differences I see between the Navy times and now are using Xref's allot more, (with pretty big files) and at my current work it is a network license, before it was a stand alone license, which is what I think the problem may be.....
There are times I don't get the chance to save, CAD just closes, like it was minimized.
Are you on a network or stand alone?
Look forward to some of the answers you get. I've felt like posting you're problem myself. Sorry no help

The errors could be the result of any one of a number of things. What OS and ACAD versions are you using?

It could be a network licence issue - there's more to go wrong than on a standalone but it may also be a hardware problem - possibly a memory error. Do your co-workers have the same problem?
