I am trying to (batch plot) publish some drawings in AutoCAD 2006. I launch AutoCAD, open my first drawing that has a page set-up complete. I add more drawings, highlight them all, go back to my first drawing and pick that page set-up. The page set-up shows up fine in all the other drawings. However, when I publish and create a dwf file and open that file in Autodesk Design Review, all the sheets show up but only the first drawing is actually there, all the other sheets are blank. I've tried all the different settings but am having no luck. I have never used Publish before. I know I am very close!!!!!!!!

Are all the sheets you are talking about Paperspace layouts?

No, they are all model space layouts.

I have never saved published files to a dwf, didn't feel a need to before but now I have am learning sheet sets which makes organizing and keeping file info very easy. You should spend some time learning sheet sets, at least to publish your drawings and keeping them organized.

That's because the positioning of the plot window of the 1st drawing is not the same for the other drawings. You will have to set each drawing's plot setting, then Publish each drawing unaltering the Page Setup Override in the Publish Dialog Box. This is why you're getting a "blank page" because it's plotting outside of the area where the drawing actually is, but it's correctly positioned in the 1st drawing so it's plotting properly. :)

Do I have to create a dwf, dwl, dsd or PDF file? I just want to batch plot the way 2002 use to do (Batch Plot Utility). I try importing page set-ups, does not work. Seems like each page set-up has to be done before publishing???? Is there a trick to this publish command? I have tried numerous different settings, still nothing. Thinking of re-installing 2002 to complete this task. Pulling my hair out!!!!!!!!!!!:?

StykFacE told you exactly what needs to be done when approaching publishing in the manner that you are. You will have to set each drawings plot settngs. It's a pain that way!!! Publishing became awesome when autodesk created Sheet Set Manager in 2005.

Like Stykface said, if your drawings are all in modelspace (as you say they are) and you use the page setup for dwg 1 than the rest of the dwgs must be within the plotted area of dwg 1. In your page setup for dwg 1 are you plotting per a window????

Simple workaround, it may work.
Draw a line from 0,0,0 to one of the corenr of the border of your drawing 1. than copy that line & paste it into other drawings at 0,0,0 & check if all the drawings are in same location in respect to 0,0,0 if not move them to be in exact same lcation in respect 0,0,0 than only publish batch plot iwll produce the result you want.
