Help with versions

I spoke to Autodesk regarding 32 or 64bit versions of AutoCAD 2008 and was told that both versions come on the same disk. Does anyone know if this is true for 3ds Max as well? We're purchasing a new workstation with XP Pro 64 and I want to be able to take advantage of it, especially with the 3ds Max. I can't get any part numbers from Autodesk, I have to get them from the reseller - I want to be sure and get the right versions. Anyone familiar with 32bit vs. 64bit for AutoCAD and 3ds MAx 2008?

I am not sure about Max 2008, but I believe Max 9 came on seperate discs, so you would need to order the correct 1. Surely a reseller, such as Excitech could give you a definitive answer?
