There are no buttons for wiring and electrical tools in plain Autocad. I think you need Autocad Electrical (http://usa.autodesk.com/adsk/servlet/index?id=4255921&siteID=123112).

Welcome to the forum cad88.
Tutorials for AutoCAD can be found at this website as well as many others. Using a search engine type in "AutoCAD"+"tutorial" (include the quotes and the plus sign as shown) for the search criteria.
Electrical symbols can be added to plain vanilla AutoCAD by purchasing additional 3rd party software. However, as previously stated above, if you are strictly working in the electrical field then a software package that is more specific may well be the better choice.

You have some Electrical Symbols (the ones everyone forgets about). Try Design Center>DC Online>2D Electrical.
Students can download AutoCAD Electrical for free from http://engineersrule.org (http://engineersrule.org/)
If you are not a student you can still get a FREE trial of AutoCAD Electrical (http://usa.autodesk.com/adsk/servlet/index?siteID=123112&id=4255921). Just got to Product Trial on the Right.

I was browsing round some dates for online tutorials hosted by a company in cambridge - then forgot about them again
you'll find the links on the autodesk website I think

You may be right, I forget sometimes Autodesk doesn't extend it's offers overseas.
