I was just thinking if anyone is in the business of making 2D electronic blueprints - there must be a decent open source solution for this. Does anyone have any recommendations?

No real workable solutions that I have seen. There are a few projects over at SourceForge but none that I have tried are usable IMHO.

I like Sketchup... it is a young product but has tons of potential.
