Hi glad to have found this forum. I have a question. If you create a part in real size and you create a drawing of it at 1/96 scale how do you get the dimensions to show up at the reduced scale. That is 240 real inches at 1/96 scale would measure 2.5 inches.:)

Are we talking about Solid Works? I am using 2004...admit a few years behind.

I found the answer in another forum. In SW, the Insert, Features drop down menu, there is a Scale feature, that allows you to change the scale of the part. When you create a drawing and dimension the part it will be dimensioned to the scale you set.
