Installation problem

formatted my hard drive to get rid of all my junk. trying to re-install all my software. some have installed ok. others i am having problems with. half way through installation i am getting a message to 'insert disk 1 dvd' to continue. disk 1 is already in my cd-dvd can some one advise what area i need to look in

What drive letter is assigned to your DVD drive? If it is non-standard (i.e something other than D:/) you may need to navigate to it.
