Hello,
I`m wondering if you can bend a corner in Sheet Metal Mode. I`ve been trying for ages but I cant find how to do it. If worked it out in a paper model to show you what I mean. (see attachment)
Thanks for your help,
Tjeerd

I would recommend looking into Contour Flanges. They're meant for doing the more exotic bends like that. I use it for doing joggles mostly. I won't guarantee it's the tool you're looking for though.
EDIT: Try drawing the part the way you need it, like your paper model, without utilizing any of the sheet metal features. Once you're done, use the the Bend tool and select the edges you want to turn into bends. Let me know what you come up with. I'm very curious to know.
Also, I can't tell that well from the pictures, but what would a flat of this look like? The bend you're proposing couldn't come from a normal bend like that without a fair amount of stretching.

Hello,
Ill try at work today and I will let you know what happened.
About the stretching; the flat pattern of the model should have "a normal" corner (just 90 degrees). When it is not bended totally it is a "normal" corner, like the first picture. To bend it, it must be strechted more indeed, but actually the real model will also be made of a strong plastified paper. Therefor it does not have to stretch but you can bend the sides in position.
Thanks for your comment!
