I am just learning to use ONYX treestorm plugin for 3DS Max. Are there any good tutorials that explain how to use treestorm. I find these videos online but they have no voice.. how the heck can i know what your really doing by you pointing the mouse and no audio lol.. those things drive me nuts because you sit there and download it for an hour to find out there is no audio.

I am finding that my small scenes are starting to slowwwww down when using
onyx tree with vray. How about vray proxy has anyone tried it. I need a tutorial to review how to use it again.

I don't use ONYX and I don't use Vray, but I do use XFROG trees and I can tell you that the trees that are generated by these programs are extremely processor intensive. The more trees and shrubs you have in a scene, the longer your render times will be. Just adding 4 or 5 trees can substantially increase your render time. I have heard that vray proxies help, but I don't know how much of an impact they have on render times. I would be interested to find out what kind of results you experience by using proxies. If the difference is substantial, it might be worth me getting a copy of Vray.
