Edit a post

I have just noticed that Strix edited my last post - for technical reason - re quotes. Obviously, thanks for doing that.

Only when I looked at FAQ did I see how this works, I had casually assumed we could only edit our own posts but of course now realise mods must be able to. So, thanks for picking up the problem; what did I get wrong?

it's a common problem with pruning quotes in this version of vBulletin - removing the last piece of text usually removes the [/ from the [/ quote] code, so I just put it back in for you :)

it wasn't a problem a few versions ago, so I've no idea what they've done to it since!!

all they had to do was include a space in their code preceding the [/ and the problem wouldn't arise
