Cannot open MEP drawings with ADT

hey,
Im working with a client and he has an older version ADT made in about 2001. my MEP is 2008. dose any one know if the dwg format for MEP will corespond with his format.

Why can't you open it? What error is it giving you? The file should definitely open.

Do have have all the updates, such as SP1 for MEP? I believe your version has the needed Object Enablers for viewing thins you need from ADT but I could be wrong.

I didnt explane this that well, I created the drawings and the client cannot open the drawings he is using ADT. He did specify what the eroor message says

Ah, gotcha. Well he needs to update his Object Enablers which he can do at www.autodesk.com/oe , and I believe you will have to save it down to an earlier version of AutoCAD as well.
