I've just drawn and printed the first example drawing in the "how to" Revit book I'm using. The floor plan is a rectangular house printed on 8 1/2 x 11. The print has solid black lines ( not on the drawing ), approximately 3/8" wide, on each of the 4 sides of the plan, standing out maybe 1" from the outside walls of the plan. The solid lines don't meet at a corner and simply surround the plan view. Is this a setting I can turn off or some kind of watermark. If watermark, it will be an expensive one relative to ink use. This is Revit Architecture 2008 Student Version.

The student version of AutoCAD has a watermark on it that you can't turn off and will print every time. It says something along the lines of "Printed with an Autodesk Educational Product". Perhaps your Revit is doing the same thing, but something is blacking it out.
