2007 drawing compatibility with 2002

I am having trouble with copying from drawing to drawing and w-blocking. The files this won't work in were generated in a-cad 2007, I am running a-cad 2002. Is there a fix for this on my end??? thank you

Autodesk has a HOTFIX (http://usa.autodesk.com/adsk/servlet/ps/dl/item?siteID=123112&id=7450124&linkID=9240618) to be applied to the 2007 version. You should just download DWG TrueView (http://usa.autodesk.com/adsk/servlet/index?id=6703438&siteID=123112) free from Autodesk or DWGGateway (http://www.dwggateway.com/) free from Solidworks and there will be no need for people to save back to an earlier version for you.

The previous handler already saved them back without the hotfix installed and now I am unable to Copy / paste, or W-Block in the drawings!!!!

You will have to contact the person who sent you the files, have them apply the fix, and then re-save the files and re-send to you.
