executable folder!!

hi..
i got an opportunity to make some changes to an existing web site.

i made it on my desktop, but while uploading it to net again..i recd a message which was something like this..

"cannot copy file to the folder. foler is marked executable.."

how do i solve this problem..??

Most likely your web server is Linux and you don't have permission to make changes to files in that folder. You'll need to use a FTP client and CHMOD the folder to allow changes to be made.

i tried editing it in frontpage..didn't succeed.
should i try out with ws_ftp?

FrontPage doesn't have full FTP functionality. You will need a dedicated FTP client. WS_FTP is fine but I prefer SmartFTP (http://www.smartftp.com/).
